First Look: Farming/Food Security.

First look at a project I am hoping to do around food security and the position farming is in. This is a first look at an arable farm yard. While it retained a lot of the traditional ideas of a farm yard there are details that hint at the more intensive and industrial methods that farmers have to use in order to keep up with demand and the market.

24 hour photo story: Hunting In Sardinia.

Over the summer I was lucky enough to be taken into the mountains with Pietro Aiana who has been hunting in these mountains in Southern Sardinia since he was a boy.
This trip up was an exercise for the hounds and to check on paths and boar tracks.
This selection is a sketch for some more images I am hoping to make.

Splott.

London
BY WILLIAM BLAKE
I wander thro' each charter'd street,
Near where the charter'd Thames does flow,
And mark in every face I meet
Marks of weakness, marks of woe.

In every cry of every Man,
In every Infant's cry of fear,
In every voice, in every ban,
The mind-forg'd manacles I hear.

How the Chimney-sweeper's cry
Every black'ning Church appalls;
And the hapless Soldier's sigh
Runs in blood down Palace walls.

But most thro' midnight streets I hear
How the youthful Harlot's curse
Blasts the new born Infant's tear,
And blights with plagues the Marriage hearse.
